The A+ Certification is a program developed by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) and is designed to certify the competency of entry-level (6 month’s experience) service technicians in the computer industry. The A+ Certification signifies that the individual possesses the knowledge to support a wide variety of software and hardware, and indicates their high-quality knowledge, technical ability and customer service.
In this CompTIA A+ course, you will acquire the essential skills and information you will need to install, upgrade, repair, configure, troubleshoot, optimize, and perform preventative maintenance of basic personal computer hardware and operating systems.
The A+ Certification Technician Program provides foundation-level knowledge and skills necessary for a career in IT support. It is the starting point for a career. Students are taught competence in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting.
Students receive technical understanding of computer technology, networking and security, as well as the communication skills and professionalism now required of all entry-level IT professionals, partly through "hands-on" orientation focused on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems.
